Serves as a CRNA faculty member for MSNA, eDNAP, and cDNAP programs.
Teaches nurse anesthesia students enrolled in the GPNA programs. Other responsibilities include but not limited to: Teaching in simulation center, didactic instruction in the MSNA and entry level-DNAP program, leading student scholarly projects, clinical site visitation, admission interviews, participation in all GPNA, various School of Health Professions, and University-wide tasks and activities.
Teach and organize didactic and clinical courses.
Advise students during didactic and clinical training when necessary
Chair, mentor and review scholarly projects when necessary
Administrative responsibilities include:
Conduct on-site clinical sites visits
Participate in the selection of students for admission into the program
Attend regional and national anesthesia meetings including the Assembly of School Faculty and the AANA National Congress when necessary.
- PhD, DNAP or DNP, or appropriate doctoral degree
- Educational/teaching experience (didactic or clinical) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
