Description: The Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia (MTSA) is searching for qualified candidates for a full-time CRNA faculty position to concentrate in didactic and simulation instruction.

Qualified applicants must have:
- An earned doctorate degree (DNP, DNAP, or PhD)
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Prior classroom teaching experience preferred
- Active recertification as a CRNA
- Ability to obtain Tennessee licensure

MTSA is a 68-year old private university, regionally and professionally accredited, highly selective graduate/professional school located in Nashville, Tennessee, possessing a single-focus mission of educating nurse anesthetists. MTSA is recognized as a national leader in promoting opioid-sparing techniques for pain control with the nation's only clinically-based, post-graduate CRNA Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship – a partnership with the AANA.

MTSA is a stand-alone school of nurse anesthesia where everything is focused on nurse anesthesia education. Under the direction of its CRNA President, the School regularly seeks opportunity to advance CRNA education, practice, and advocacy both locally and abroad. The School leads mission trips to Haiti to provide anesthesia for surgery cases, and has adopted the only anesthesia school in Guyana, South America, where academic support is provided for its students.
