The Anesthesia Department provides all types of anesthesia services to children on an inpatient and/or outpatient basis on the Minneapolis and West Campuses. Additional services include: Respiratory and airway management and professional consultation for patients requiring unusual pain management techniques. In order to minimize patient anxiety and fear, parental involvement during the induction of anesthesia, whenever safely possible, is encouraged.Case mixture includes, but not limited to cardiac, neuro, level 1 trauma and micro preemies

Position Summary
Job duties include administration of general anesthesia.

*Home beeper call with a 30 min response time required

Current MN state RN License Current BLS Certification. PALS and/or ACLS certified or eligible. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program, accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

Required Education: Masters Degree

Level: Entry Level, Experienced
